WTB: Axis Maglite 15" Graphite; Any thoughts?

Ok,

So I finally think I have a buyer for my old Mustang II wheels that have been laying around here, and I want to get a set of these axis wheel if I can find a set in a resonable price range.
If anyone has an Idea where I can find them local I'd apreciate it. So far I'm looking at about $128-$140 a wheel online new, and I would like to keep it under that.

I played with photoshop and feel they will look pretty slick.

The only other thoughts are SSR Type X wheels, but I'm still pondering that look.

Well if your thinking of changing up; let me know [img]biggrin.gif[/img] I'm going to be kicking around those ssr's. I don't think it's that bad the more I look at it. Though the maglites are better. [img]cool.gif[/img]

The woman who owned the car before me used the current rims for curb feelers, and I'm just sort of ready to change it up some.

Nah, it wont be for a while and considering its so hard to find decent wheels now, those wheels will probably go to the grave with the car...

Now arent you selling yoru car on CL? $6500? You did see the DOHC VTEC on there with less miles that is asking $5500 right?

Those are the ones i got, unfortunately for you, Axis does no make the mag lites anymore and i got lucky when i found mine used online. They dropped the 15's and from their website, it looks like they dropped the 17's as well.

Oh and if you see them on websites or in magazines, and think you can still order them...guess again...all these people do not stock wheels so they order from axis when you order from then and since axis does not have anymore of these, your out of luck...

BTW you got the same taste i have...those were the same wheels i was looking at except for the SSRs i was looking at bronse...Dont know why but i guess theres not much of a market for 15's anymore...

Yes, it's up for sale: at what I have into it. They get free labor and trouble shooting tuntill it worked right.
I have put a lot of work into this car, so I'd like to see it appreciated by the new owner. I will be reinvesting in another sol though. [img]wink.gif[/img]

The places that I checked out wheels were: Tirerack.com, summitracing.com, and America's tire co. America's tire is my current co-sponsor, because of their service and pricing. They beat Tirerack prices for wheel and tire combos, mounted, balanced and Nitrogen filled all my tires. America's tire gets many wheels, or can find them. Have you checked out the Motegi Tracklites, or Rota Slipstreams? If you can, stay with 15" because of the vast tire selection, lighter and smaller centrifugical weight. (better performance)
